Ok long tale small my soon-to-be sister in law is having a baby shower in a couple of months, well her Mom questioned me to help out. I am hosting a VERY unconventional baby shower for one of my very unconventional friends.
this baby shower will have more like a party atmosphere, and there will be a keg for the non pregnant folks to partake of.
We will be playing pregnant twister with loaded balloons.
Any other thoughts for games/activities, snacks, etc. will be greatly appreciated.

if you have any artistic friends…
buy a bunch of plain white onesies in various sizes and a couple packs of sharpie markers in a variety of colors. set up a table with the suppies and encouge folks to get creative.
remember to also place out some cardboard to stick inside them so the marker doesnt run through to the back. you can also hang up a clothesline inside with some clips so when someone finishes decorating their onesie they can hang it up for all to see.

did this at my shower and my sisters. huge hit both times.

Hi girls! My baby shower is quick approaching and we haven’t any games yet! AUGH!! Mom is plotting the celebration for baby boy Riley… She throws gorgeous parties but isn’t the best with games. First off Congratulations on your new baby!!!
I have been to a few baby showers. We have played the scrambled baby item game. One game was that they would place either, juice milk, water, soda, whatever the participant was drinking in a baby bottle all filled the same amount. (Not alot though.) And the person had to try to drink all of whatever they had in their bottle. It’s harder then it looks, (a child really won that game at the shower I attended). I’ve had to place a piece of paper on my head and try to draw a baby and the mommy to be picks the best drawing. A door prize thought is we made small blue/pink diapers out of small squares of felt and place mustard or something in one of the diapers and each place setting got one and whomever had the dirty diaper won a prize. I reckon one game that was pretty excellent was the mommy to be when around with a platter/plate/tray with baby items on it (of course saying hello as she went to everyone) and she didn’t really say anything. So everyone assumed you had to memorize what she was carrying on her tray. When she had been around to everyone she left the room. Her mother then stands up and says okay everyone please right down everything that, she (mommy-to-be) was wearing. Everyone was like OMG I didn’t even pay any attention to that. Surely, there will be lots of opportunities for laughter. You may want to make this game more fun by adding unusual baby products.

The Bottle Race

This is a very fun game, and an brilliant ice breaker. Baby bottles are filled up with juice or milk. Everyone then sucks a bottle and the guest who finishes all the fluids in the baby bottle wins the game. Prepare your camera to take lots of fun pictures of your guests sucking on baby bottles!
