I was thinking a restaurant with outdoor dining, or with private rooms. Somewhere that won’t charge a rental fee like a hall. Anywhere but home, we’ve done it there before.

I am throwing my sister’s baby shower next weekend, and have all the basics covered, such as food, punch, centerpieces, baloons, etc..
Now I am looking for those extra details one can do to make it extra special and add that “WOW factor.”
I want her to be completely wow’d when she walks in the door!
Things I have already done:
~Got a chocolate fountain
~Blew up ultrasound pictures of her baby and framed them to place around the party.
~Slideshow of her Maternity pictures
~Personalized cookies with her baby’s name on them.
~Blueberries frozen in ice cubes.

What else can I do?? What about special ways to decorate the food table? Present table?
Please share any incredible and unique thoughts so that I can give my sister her DREAM baby shower!

What a thoughtful sis you are. I would buy a large signable frame that she can place a picture of the baby in when he/she comes and have everyone at the shower add a message. (You can also do this in a book if you don’t like the frame thought).

I would dress up the food table by sprinkling baby shower confetti (available at your local party store) on top. As for the present table, you could tape plastic rattles around the edge of it.
